Botox injections

Do you want to stay young and look wonderful? The answer is ‘yes’ for most of us. One of the best ways to keep our skin beautiful and healthy is with BOTOX INJECTIONS.
BOTOX injection is a relatively simple procedure which leads to an effective wrinkles clearing and a beautiful appearance.
BOTOX is a protein complex (Botulinum Toxin A) derived from the bacterium called Clostridium botulinum. Botox comes from the same toxin that causes botulism i.e., the food poisoning in human. However, fortunately, this toxin does not have the same poisoning effect on the skin. In the year 2002, it was approved by the FDA for improving and relaxing the frown lines in the areas between the eyes on the forehead.
Botox is used to reduce wrinkles. When injected into the muscle, botox temporarily paralyzes the wrinkle-causing muscles by blocking the nerve impulses, thereby causing them to relax more. As a result of this the process of wrinkle formation is reduced leading to an immediate smoothing effect. The full effect of botox injection can be seen in 5-7 days. The result usually depends on the severity of the wrinkles and the strength of the muscles treated.
Botox is temporarily solution and the result may last for 3-6 months after which most patients return to their formal state. Therefore, normally the botox should be repeated every 3-4 months.
It is recommended that pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as patients suffering from neurologic disorders and those who are allergic to eggs should never use botox injections. The procedure should always be performed by a qualified and well experienced doctor.
